Let me just take a guess here. We're talking about EA, so the chances of this becoming an annual franchise are extremely high, while the chances of it staying on Xbox and PC only are really slim, thus I predict that in 2014 we can expect to play the next Titanfall on PS4 as well. And since the internet hates every annual franchise after enough iterations it seems like a fair guess to say that in 2016 we're all going to groan in annoyance at another Titanfall, so I really don't get this whole discussion.
So Xbox owners will be able to play the first and thus probably most unrefined Titanfall, exclusive on their platform, great....

There is also a chance that the franchise will be biannual, in that case you have to change the years a bit, but what I'm trying to say stays the same.

It's an online-only game by EA........E....A...

It could be good,
It could be bad,
It could be mediocre
It could be the game of the year,
It could be a bug ridden mess found dead a week after launch in a pool of its own micro transactions.

I'm not going to hype or downplay the game, I'll just wait for reviews. Far too many unknowns to hype an unknown IP from EA as the next gaming messiah or unjustly crucify it for not coming to one's console of choice.

I will be playing the game on PC and Xbox One.

Their argument falls flat when he said "people arent interested in." He very well could be interested in this game and games like it. Its not his fault for A. The flamebait in OP and B. Falling for it. 

Any good looking game not coming to the mighty PS4 shall be Downplayed with utmost damage control.
