The planet's environments and aliens look very uninspired, other than that it sounds cool but Star Citizen (see my sig) looks more promising (bigger budget, more ambitious, high-profile devs, while also indie).

It really was quite impressive

But the procedural generation will only go so far. It will keep me busy until Star Citizen actually comes out

Start Citizen hasnt shown anything substantial though...

The potential is there but it doesnt seem like they have any content...yet!

It has shown more than that trailer! You can already explore your ships and within the next few months, there will a dogfighting module.

This game is all procedurally generated and given the size of the dev team you are going to see plenty of repeats. All Star Citizen's environments are hand crafted, with some repetition, but not the same that you'll get from something procedural

Having said that, this art style is very nice if something quite common to upcoming indie games (looks similar to the Witness I think)

Day One !!

Just too bad that the game is not in the Star Wars Universe or Mass Effect Universe :(

Because, to able to discover and fly to others planets to visit is awesome !!!!

Yeah it would be awesome to have a star wars game like this. But then they'd have to make a lot of it by themselves....as it's all procedurally generated it's probably easier for them to pull off this scale.

What " procedurally generated " does mean ? ^^

I've seen the hangar footage...looks barebones to me. But i have no idea how far along they are into development. I remember reading an article about how they plan to roll out their updates etc.

And yeah i know dogfighting is coming soonish but when it comes that will be all there is to it...

I dont mean to bash star citizen but the best thing it has going for it is the potential of a great game. I do hope they deliver though :) They are aiming really high with Star Citizen!

Intel Core i7 3770K [3.5GHz]|MSI Big Bang Z77 Mpower|Corsair Vengeance DDR3-1866 2 x 4GB|MSI GeForce GTX 560 ti Twin Frozr 2|OCZ Vertex 4 128GB|Corsair HX750|Cooler Master CM 690II Advanced|

WOW, I hope it is released on PC. Don't feel like buying an XBONE or PS4 for this, but if it turns out to meet its promises then I'll have to.

It's no Proteus but it's okay I guess.

Yeah, it's just the start. The full game is probably going to come early 2015, but there should be a beta late next year

The ship adverts probably show more, but yeah, there is lots to come in Star Citizen

Oh look. Another indie dev showing AAA devs how to be cool creative.

Fixed.  The truth carries much more weight.  ;)

MMO version of StarMade is not particularly creative.

...but still more creative than most AAA games, I suppose.
