I always wondered what exactly the "other" countries are that you don't see in the sales-chart on the main-site but you "see" them if you start adding the numbers per system and get a different number than total.

Especially I always wondered why Sony has so much sales in the unknown territories. Are these countries known? Is there a list of countries which shows where Nintendo, Sony and MS sell their systems?

In current data Sony sold 60k units in "other", psp almost 22k. 360 only 16k.

So to me this translates into "Sony also sells their systems in way more countries than Nintendo and MS do", right?

They are also more popular in the "other" territories.

Africa for example would probably be under "Other".

Everything that isn't North America, Europe or Japan.

The USA has invaded pretty much every country in the world.

Well they haven't invaded...errr...ahhh...ummm...Fiji...no scratch that, it's been invaded by American tourists.

That's a trick question. VGC doesnt have meaningful tracking infrastructure anywhere :^)
