I honestly don't think France's group is as free as some are making it out to be. All of their last three group runs in the world cup have been far from convincing, and Switzerland were the only team to beat Spain at the last WC. Honduras beating Mexico for automatic qualification is nothing to shake a leg at either.

Bosnia also won their qualifying group, I expect it to be a real slugfest between them and Nigeria for 2nd place in their group.

But yeah, Group D is horseshit, hands down the G.O.D of this WC.

I did not even know the USA tied last time for the world Cup win. lol

Seems like the so called experts are already predicting USA to win their group. I might have to pay attention this time.

Really? All the mainstream sports media is calling it the Group of Death.

Ghana has knocked the US team out of the last two World Cups.
Portugal hosts the best player in the world at the moment.
Germany are the favorites (beside Brazil) to win it all.

It's going to be pretty tough for the Men's National Team. @_@

It sounds like I should not watch. You ruined my dreams of finally becoming a US Soccer fan.

Because I seriously will not watch as soon as the US is out. That and if Brazil even has decent game times.

Then they aren't experts.  They MIGHT just get through by some set of weird circumstance, but I seriously doubt it.

I think some England fans are looking at this the wrong way. Let's be honest, you're going nowhere beyond the quarter finals no matter what so isn't it better to play a couple of big exciting teams along the way? I mean look what happened last time out with the EASY group.

Can any South Americans tell me anything about how good or bad Costa Rica are?
