What will actually happen is this:
Reggie comes out on the stage, a single spot light shines on him, mist swirling around his feet. As he looks out into the darkness, where the whole gaming press sits, not expecting much from this Nintendo presentation, he starts to speak with a foreboding voice:
"We at Nintendo has always strived to give the gamers the best experiences, to push the boundaries of what it means to play a game. We have always looked for ways to innovate and change the perception of what games can do. And today I would like to introduce yet another of these efforts, the next step in gaming."
Behind Reggie a huge monitor lights up, chasing the darkness away with its bright light. What is shown is a montage of Nintendo's every console, from the NES, to the Game Boy, the DS and Wii U, with a soundtrack that ramps up as the video goes on, until the cresendo. The monitor suddenly goes black and silence ring like thunder. Then, like an explosion a powerful choir sings and we are shown the next step in gaming:
The Super Virtual Boy.
The monitor now shows us a fast paced montage of all the awesome features of The Super Virtual Boy, while being accompanied with an edgier soundtrack of rock mixed with electronic music. The montage also shows us The Super Power Glove, which is bundled with The Super Virtual Boy, thus combining motion control with the first Virtual Reality console to hit the mainstream market. This third pillar of Nintendo is supported by 20 new games. At launch. 7 of these are new IP's from Nintendo. One being a new, realistic, dark and gritty Zelda which shows the audience just how far ahead The Super Virtual Boy is over its competition; it makes the PS4 and XboxOne look like something from the 6th generation. The new Legend of Zelda also shows how the Super Power Glove is used, and yet again how motion control revolutionizes the whole gaming industry.
At the very end of the montage, the audience is giving Nintendo a standing ovation, and a few grown men is even crying.
As the screen fades to black, the text "Launches in 2014" fades in before it goes dark yet again.
Reggie steps out on stage again, simply to say: "We launch The Super Virtual Boy next year for only $249", before he leaves.
The executives at Sony and Microsoft resign from their posts the very next day.
The End.
