I predict 4.5 million PS4 sold until late march.

Well according to Michael Pachter Sony and Foxconn have been producing about 1 million console a month since September,so I'll make a guesstimate of somewhere between 5.5mil-6.5mil by the end of March.
I'm thinking Sony will meet their forecast of 5m pretty much exactly.
I'll say 4.9m here on VGC (so voted 5m).
Since some pre-orders are postponed until January and March, it's reasonable to assume that their projected 5 million should be attainable.
5 million it is, the real question is what it can do when the initial demand has settled and the sustained weekly sales make themselves known, that is a lot more difficult to assess from where I'm sitting.

Yeah I don't think anyone realistically expected the PS4 to sell so well. Even Sony had their estimation at 5 million which at the time was optimistic.

I'm suprised the PS4 kept strong momentum and blew away Sony's own prediction. Very impressive to say the least.
