I think Sony's projection of 5mn shipped till march basically is them saying: "this is the amount we can produce in that timeframe". Sony will most likely reach 3mn by years end, maybe a little above that.

| kowenicki said: No I'm honestly a little surprised that it 2.1m. I was expecting it to be over 2.5m by now. Don't misunderstand me... I'm not saying they couldn't sell that many, I'm saying they are struggling with supply. I think they said 5m shipped by end of March. Now we know why. |
They also said 3mil years end. We all know they will reach that. I dont know why you think they are struggling more than already expected by most reasonable people
Possibly if they ship enough consoles as consumer demand is so high.
The Wii U to me is an OK console with great games that are not great because of the controller.
I want as many people as possible to play Nintendo games as possible and sadly the Wii U does not reach nearly enough people given the quality of its games.
This is the Game of Thrones
Where you either win
or you DIE
The demand is high enough, sure. But I don't think Sony can produce that many consoles in a month.
Don't think so. When PS4 releases in japan in Feb, its very likely that it will surpass Wii U, until then, no way.
Sony said 3m by the end of the year
5m by March
I think the Wii U is probably still going to be ahead then. In fact, I kind of hope it is, it's not a terrible console and I don't really want to see it flop even if I don't want one
If Sony said 3 millions end of the year, it means they are going to ship 3.5 millions max.
So not possible.

Not even close. They will hit 3mill en outsell the wiiu ltd by march.
