Saw the first commercials in months for Wii U. Super Mario, what else? :)
I see them on tv all the time. Literally pretty much every commercial break. Don't think I've ever seen this much Nintendo commercials, even during the Wii craze.
A lot of variety too; they're airing separate commercials for Mario Kart 7, Luigi's Mansion 2, Zelda ALBW, Just Dance 2014, Disney Infinity, Mario 3D World, and Animal Crossing New Leaf. Maybe more, those are what I've seen.
This in contrast to one very weird PS4 commercial I've seen twice, in which the announcer screams at you all the time.

I'm still seeing commercials for Sonic Lost World...

In America, I've been seeing Wii U and 3DS ads all year. While the 3DS ads were typically great, the Wii U ads were always for stuff like Scribblenauts and Skylanders. Not very high-profile stuff. Only recently has Nintendo seemed to actually want to sell their console. The ads now are a step in the right direction.
A Wii U commercial? On television?

Lol :D
I saw a Wii-u commercial for the first time ever on Hulu the other day. It was followed by about 6 more Wii-u commercial during the next hour. It seems like they've finally decided to try and market the system for Christmas.
