I meant adjusting TV settings for KI. Killer Instinct is a native 720p title. I would like someone here to set it into 720p and adjust their TV and post some pics.
Ryse was 900p, which is why they went with their own solution rather than Microsofts.

Taking pictures off-screen isn't that easy. Here is a simple comparison, I applied an equal and opposite basic contrast adjustment to 2 images from the OP trying to even them out Upscaled version first, the 720p original image second (like in the OP)

The second image looks richer in colors now, and detail has been lost from the first image. My point is that it's the display that's responsible for the final image quality, which everyone can set to their own preference. The console should not apply any image adjustments, that only destroys detail and makes it incompatible with other inputs.

That second picture looks so much better than the filtered pic. SO much better.
Thanks for taking the time to make the adjustments. It looks great and you don't lose all that additional detail.

My game doesn't look as dark as some of these photos and to me you're over exaggerating a bit in these shots Euphoria.

You can think whatever you want. I already know the filter crushes black and that is never a good thing.
Just take the time and look at the pics Whatever posted. Just to the right of Jago's head in the 720p shot you can see the outside of the building. In the filtered pics all of that detail is gone and turned into crushed black.
No exaggeration on my part friend, it is a downright terrible filter that crushes blacks and brightens whites while destroying so much of the game's detail. The pics Whatever postes are the greatest indicator. Jago's gloves lose their detail, the emblem under the ceiling beam loses all detail, the outside of the building becomes a black blob, the ceiling, which is lit by a fire beneath is black, the list goes on.
If you like that then more power to you.
Edit - In the pic by Svenno you can clearly see that a change in settings makes it looks as nice, all while keeping all the detail in Jago's clothing, especially sash and pants, also keeps all detail in the support beam to his right. Same goes for the cloth connected to the beam. The ceiling boards are open, meaning light comes in. Where the shadows are should be soft as it isn't in total darkness, yet in the filtered shots those shadows are crushed black while the the adjusted 720p shots without the filter the shadows are soft.
You say I am exaggerating, but as we can see I just clearly notice these things more than you do and to me they are very obvious.
