If I lived in Brazil I'd quit gaming.
I imported mine like pretty much everybody there are way way more than 4k PS4s on Brazil, ppl just didnt pay the stupid oficial price.

Yes it is as a single chain. Grupo Pão de Açucar is bigger but only 2 of their chains (Ponto Frio and Casas Bahia) deals with games. The same thing goes to Carrefour and Walmart here.
And my point is that with only 4000 consoles to sell in the country, one can hardly say they are doing well even if they sell everything. Just the fact the stores are giving discounts over sony recommended price,is a bad sign.
We will only be able to see the truth when there is plenty of units to sell.

At Submarino the PS4 is yet R$3500 due Black Friday... I think no retail sold PS4 at R$4000. The update was only about the reply from Sony talk with game released.... they didn't checked again. |
R$3500 for boleto, that means you have to pay all that at once. Any digital retailer in Brazil do that. There's no excuse for Sony ridiculous price here. Wii U is not made in Brazil and costs less than half from PS4. I paid R$1500 (around U$670) using boleto for my oficial Wii U, which was kinda expensive already, yet R$2000 less than if you buy the oficial PS4 for R$3500. With R$3500 you can buy both oficial Wii U and XBox One with warranty using boleto. I believe if you go to a Sony Store they can even give you a big discount, but anything higher than R$2500 is a lot, because XBox One, which is more expensive than PS4 in all other countries, costs less than that.
But I gotta say that although I would never pay that much for a PS4, it is nice to see that many people here stopped to buy games and consoles illegaly. That is a first step to change our games maket.

I agree I'm just saying this price was for the BF... boleto only before BF it was R$3800.
