I will wait for US sales before saying 3D World is a bomb, either way. I don't care tbh. Just can't wait to play and incredible game in 2 games.

If Wii U is anything like the GameCube, at least history will remember it fondly, and future generations will ponder the mysteries behind why so many people ignored it.

This has been coming for some time now. I have stated many times that Nintendo is facing a tough choice. They can keep their franchises exclusive to a system that faces a limited install base, or sell on other systems and sell way more software but pretty much going third party in the process.

I would like to state a third option though: Release a Nintendo accessoire for PS4/Xbox One on wich they make a very nice profit and make it a requirement to play Nintendo games. That way they could also still innovate with controls/gameplay but would have a guaranteed large install base to sell software and don't have to risk spending a lot of money on releasing and developing their own console.

This argument is invalid because 3D Mario titles usually sell the least in Japan and 9/10 of the sales are from North America and Europe. Galaxy only sold 1.2 Million in Japan total.

Sure, it's still a low for the franchise in Japan, but wait till we see the NA and EU numbers before we make these accusations. If it sells less than 600,000 total than I will post a picture of me wearing lipstick.

I think the Wii U will be like a dream come true for actual Nintendo fans. Nintendo will realize that this gen they have no chance with the casual market that Sony/MS aims for and thus will just try to get their profits from the hardcore user base (like the GC)

Opinion for Zelda, people loved it (im not in the group though), i agree with the other two, but why you leave out the positives?

These titles are the best in the franchise at their time (Paper Mario/ F-Zero/ Metroid Prime/ SSBM)
