Tbh when I first saw this game I had no interest in it, but I keep hearing people tout it over and over so I'm tempted to try it.

Visually, it's bland, but gameplay wise, superb.

Muramasa: The Demon Blade, The Munchables, Geometry Wars: Galaxies, Ghostbusters (Wii version plays the best), A Boy and His Blob, Excite Truck, Red Steel 2, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, de Blob (the first one), Monster Hunter 3, MadWorld, RE: Umbrella Chronicles, Punch Out!, Wario Land: Shake It! (very good platformer), the first Conduit game (not great, but solid), SW: The Force Unleashed (same deal as Ghostbusters), Little King's Story, Arc Rise Fantasia (decent rpg), Fragile Dreams (same), Battalion Wars II, Fire Emblem, Alien Syndrome (decent remake, lots of content), Lost in Shadow, there's a bunch of good ones man.

I'll second the Trauma game, but urge you to consider Trauma Team instead of Trauma Center.
