LOL, how is it? Both have launched in NA, Apples to Apples. In actual fact Albert makes the One numbers look worse by reminding us that PS4 HAS NOT launched in the U.K . yet.

So the NA aren't where we think they are. At least that's what im getting from this.

Why release a statement then? I'm not denying the numbers are great for both systems , but damn i'm dizzy atm.

I didnt mean you :p. im talking about Alberts statement

albert wanting to not compare NA really makes you wonder where the numbers are.

and he shouldnt have even mentioned yield, even if people are asking him about it. It makes him look defensive. The xb1 launched in less markets, so they should have more for those 13. Its not like sony is launching in europe in a month, its a week away and alot of consoles are at stores or very close to. the numbers they have are alot smaller then sony. Why do they have less consoles made?

I am Torgo, I take care of the place while the master is away.

"Hes the clown that makes the dark side fun.. Torgo!"

Ha.. i won my bet, but i wasnt around to gloat because im on a better forum!  See ya guys on Viz

Sorry quoted wrong post, aimed at Darth Tigris.

i think what he means is that since sony only launched in NA last week they were able to put more units towards that and not have to really worry about making sure there other places have consoles yet since they dont launch there for another week. MS did a world wide launch so they had to make sure every place had enough.

so yes ps4 most likely outsold them in us and probably will WW but since there launch strategies were diff it makes it a little hard to compare

Ogghh, I knew Microsoft was going to try to spin the results....I want to hear what they will say after Black Friday..., and then, after christmas....I'm genuinely curious HOW they will do it.

For the record, great numbers but expected.

I think what Arstechnica said applies here too. I'm happy for the console gaming industry, that it appears healthy right now, but we need more time to say the industry looks safe. There was a lot of swollen testicles and this gush of sales won't be sustained. Hopefully the level won't be like the Wii U was ...

wait has it been 24 hours yet? it's 9:30 here( Eastern US) so it's only been 21 hours 30 minutes...MS LIED! DO NOT TRUST DEM NUMBERS!!!

what are you going on about?

microsoft said that they sold these in less than 24 hours, not the full 24 hours.

Yes and 40 countries compared to 13 has nothing to do with that.

That's it.

Won't satisfy some vocal people because they want clear winners and losers.  Unfortunately they can't see the bigger picture:  the winner is the console gaming industry (so far) and the losers are those that said it was over (so far ...).
