LOL, how is it? Both have launched in NA, Apples to Apples. In actual fact Albert makes the One numbers look worse by reminding us that PS4 HAS NOT launched in the U.K . yet. |
So the NA aren't where we think they are. At least that's what im getting from this.

Yea, I would think he would have said numbers are very close if the One sold ~900K. So, I'm guessing ~600K-750K in NA. Those are great numbers, but not when compared to the competition, which still has 2.3M preorders to fulfil from Gamestop alone. If Sony can manage to get at least half of those out before the end of the year, the gap is going to be quite large. And this is in MS's best region.

You might want to stop quoting that 2.3m figure. The original quotes from Gamestop on the 5 sites I checked have all been edited to clearly say that number included both consoles. Ars Technica's edit includes the word 'supplies' in the header now. So GS were, as usual overstating the case by including at least all inquiries about both consoles and accessories in the total. I doubt they meant software. Games aren't console supplies. GS still have more PS4 fans on their wait lists according to anecdotal evidence from a couple of sources I've seen but it's definitely not 2.3m. Besides some of those people will find PS4's elsewhere or buy something else. PCs, WiiUs, X1s, Etch-a-Sketches. Or nothing at all.

Not completely the OPs fault. Lousy journaliism across the board. Even the url still says PS4.
