If that's the case, those 3 games would be :

Sonic Lost Worlds
Sonic & Mario at the olympic games
Sonic in Super Smash

With that said, Sega may already be making a game for X1 and PS4.

 

No they definitely said there were three Wii U titles, Sonic being in SB doesn't count. So there's one more game, we just have no idea what it'll be.

It's either 3 games Sonic is exclusive to Nintendo or 3 Sonic games exclusive to Nintendo

As we don't know the exact terms of the contract ( or maybe ? ), we can't be 100% sure.

Imo those exclusivity things are nothing but a mess :/

I'm pretty sure it's 3 exclusive games because they said the third game isn't annouced yet, Smash was announced back in 2012 long before the deal.

When a game like MH3 sells good on the Wii U, even though it was released twice before, it shows that it's not the users, it's the publishers. Even Capcom said it was a smash hit. Wii U owners would have probably bought Rayman Legends more if it wasn't delayed; and not ported to other consoles. Certain games on the Wii showed that Nintendo gamers do care about 3rd parties.

actually thats wrong. Sonic and the black knight got worst scores and even if you want to count that as a STORYBOOK game, Unleashed got around the same scores as Lost world

Wii U user base cares about 3rd party games? tell that to AC4 and COD

By that logic, explain Heroes? Or even Sonic and Knuckles, Sonic 4 and Sonic Generations within themselves? There's no reason to name any future Sonic game SA3, or make an 'SA3' just to appease the sentimental feelings of a minority. The closest there's been is Sonic 06, and yeah.. it's all just a clusterfuck.

I guarantee you if SA2 was named anything else, this thread would not exist.

Sonic Adventure 3 I could really get behind. The first one especially is pretty much my favourite Sonic game. For everything it did wrong, it did another 10 things right.

I kind of wish the PS4/XBONE could pull out a launch title as interesting and exciting as Sonic Adventure was.

Realistically though, I'd be quite happy with Sonic Colours HD or Sonic Colours 2. Or even just a 60fps Sonic Generations.
