They're gonna charge you for the Japanese voice-over!? I'm...speechless. Seriously, if they can charge for something like that they can charge for anything.

Fine with me. Most game don't have this, so it's fine. It's a plus, noone is force to pay a dollar.

This is really fucking weird.
But, people always said they'd pay extra, because of the extra costs associated with it. And the fact that final fantasy hasnt had this means this dlc actually isnt something that they took away and charged for it. But SE actually doing it is bizzare. This would seem like something if ever there was a way for easy goodwill this would be it.
The other thing is that in previous games they redid the animations in English. I wonder if that means they didnt do that this game. Or this dlc adds animations.
It sort of makes sense to make it downloadable since it would probably make the Xbox 360 go over it's capacity and it's easier to do it just as downloadable. Charging for its is dumb though.
You guys have to realize that the game is also on the 360. Dual audio would take up a lot of space. Of course, since Microsoft requires the exact same amount of on disc content on both PS360 from developers, those of us getting it on PS3 will also have to pay for it.
Glad I'd rather hear the games I play in English, but for those of you who don't and are getting the game when it drops in price(like me,) just purchase the DLC when it's free. Then download it later when, if, you want to use it. I'm more upset that some schema is DLC only, but with 80+ on disc, I guess I'm not too disappointed.
While it seems logical that because of the 360 disc size they can't add dual Audio.. it seems to me that its more of a licensing thing with the japanese voice cast.. paying per download is much cheaper then paying for every western disc out there.. thats also the reason we have to pay for it..

The Japanese Voice-Over Pack also includes lip-synching that differs from the English-language voice track already included with the game, to ensure a more natural and localized game experience.
