FF13 is ugh, Lightning Returns is going to be amazing.

The Japanese Voice-Over Pack also includes lip-synching that differs from the English-language voice track already included with the game, to ensure a more natural and localized game experience.


This is cool and this took more work than other games doing this kind of thing. making it a download makes complete sense. And it still is a better solution than before. But, Making it not free though kind hurts most good momentum the announcement could have had.

If they wanted to be picky because of license codes, just include a one use code in new game, then they don't have to announce anything else. But zoh well.

But there are plenty of PS3 games that have more content than the 360 version, I don't think that excuse is valid here.  They want to punish late adopters that are possibly getting the game cheaper.

Exactly. This is super reasonable, and I have no idea why people are downing SE for this. Not only do they bother to spend to a good dub (unlike just about every localization company), they're offering this (and it's free if you adopt early). I'd happily pay $5-10 for the Japanese voices for Xillia.

Who was the dumb ass that decided that 360 and PS3 versions have to be identical? Not using a console's capapbilities properly is the fault of the software makers. SE just turned into an asshole company after the merge is all.
