I don't know why Nintendo never leverages Virtual Console games in these bundles. Throwing in, say, Super Mario Bros. 2 preinstalled costs them literally nothing, and adds value. This bundle has a lot in in it already, just throwing that out there, though.

Yeah I know  it costs them like 1 cent to add every  NES SNES N64 and Gameboy mario game to those bundles because its just the server dowload.

Nintendo should make Nintendo published NES and Gameboy games FREE for everyone that buys their sytems. Those games are so old they are not worth 5 dollars/euros. (some GB games like Links Awakening are because they still have great gameplay)

Make NES and GB games free (if third party insists that they cost 5 bucks it their problem) and make SNES games 4-5 and N64 games $7€ and Gamecube games $10€. This will lure alot of consumers (hey dude you have to buy a WiiU you get 100+ games for free.)

The problem is that people WILL buy games like SMB3 over and over again, so why give them away for free?  A virtual console rental service, for a monthly fee you can play so many games, might be an interesting idea.

Good deal, although Luigi hardly counts as a separate game.

this is where your very very wrong my friend, it might be DLC but its is own game.

It definitely is its own game.

This deal cannot be beat!

299 GBP = $485 US ... so it's really not *that* great of a value.

$299.99 for NSMBU Wii Bundle
$59.99 for Mario 3D World
$39.99 for Mario Wiimote

Is $85 cheaper. UK customers are getting hosed.

Every time this is brought up people always forget taxation system differ among countries. The $85 difference is largely tax rates and how they are built into prices versus added after.  A 20% VAT built in against a 6% sales tax added on makes the pricing seem much fairer.

Wow! Such a great deal...
If Nintendo release a bundle like this in Brazil it would sell like crazy.

No, because it would sell for 3000 reais.

If they keep the actual price equivalency, they should sell for no more than BRL $ 1900,00. That´s the price of the NSMBU bundle we´re getting next week.

(still expensive, though). An optimal price to drive sales would be between BRL $ 1500-1600 for that bundle, since we can get it even cheaper on the grey market

They should manufacture in Brazil, isn't the Xbox One cheaper than WiiU there?

1.9 vs 2.2. near enough.

Very overpriced. It equates to £80 for Mario 3D World and a Wii-Mote give you can get the Wii U with NSMB-U and Luigi for £219.99.

£249.99 should have been the price for it.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.
