Xbox has a dominant position in the uk. I have 20+ friends with home consoles and non of them have ps3 all 360s. The only reason the ps4 has been ranking higher on amazon uk is that there has been stock availability. Amazon forward sold all their xbox one stock they are receiving up to Christmas by mid November. Now they are saying any orders after mid November will be fulfilled after Christmas.

Ms have given uk good stock levels for launch as well as its by far their biggest market outside the states. Most retailers in uk were sold out of xbox one weeks ago. Retailers kept back some stock for open sale and midnight store opening to generate publicity this week but all of that's gone now as well for sure. Uk will be sold out day one that is certain and its probably received 150 - 200k units. The rest of the European stock will have gone to germany and the Scandinavian countries where xbox has good market share. It won't do anything in France and Southern Europe that is ps country. But hardware in these countries only moves in volume in the lower price ranges and software attach rates are terrible so it's not like its massively profitable business.

I second this. Our Target had 32 PS4's and has 28 Xbox One's which isn't a huge deal but our Gamestop had 115 PS4 pre-orders and only 85 Xbox One pre-orders. I'd be surprised if MS sells more than 750K.


City and state so i can confirm those numbers. So far everything ive seen 24 was the highest in Chicago, Milwaukee and LA stores for Ps4. For X1 i only saw stores up to 16 in the same cities. Quickly checked NYC for 80+ because someone said their store had that many but didnt see anything close to that

Its true. You can see supply in the picture i posted. Also, didnt know you have seen Toys R Us numbers, kmart numbers, best buy numbers, sears numbers, walmart numbers.... or anything other than gamestop.

We will definatly outsell Sears, Toys R Us, Frys HH Gregg and Kmart. Walmart is in a league of its own and you really cant compare to Target to Best Buy or Gamestop.

Yeah Im not knocking Target I actually love it and shop there all the time. Im just saying theres quite a gap in those numbers and ours. And yes your right thats not too fair of a comparison.
