For the 1 million is inline with what I expected... that put US below 700k like I said.

900k? VGC failed again.

And now Ben? Do you say minimum of 700k for US yet?

That's only half the picture though right? I'm seeing this from a few people, even Pannello (sp).

Yes Sony had 1 million in NA... MS had 1 million (alittle more) worldwide. So it's the same right.. they are shifting the same amount of stock Well not really if Sony have say another 1/2 - 1 million consoles ready 1 week after the NA launch.. that's a massive difference in stock. Or do we really expect MS to ship in an additional number of consoles worldwide to equal the European launch in the next week.? There are rumours that PS4 stock is coming in the USA but they are holding it back for Next weekends BF (not sure if i think thats true or more precisely fair... especially if pre-orders are still massive.. they should be getting them first imho).

MS didn't expect to ship huge amounts this year anymore... they focused in the launch.

Waaaaait, wait, wait wait wait! In the 10 week countdown thread you predicted 350.000 first week and you've claimed several times that the Xbox would be too supply constrained to reach a million first week, having problems admitting that we're wrong haven't we?

The 10 week countdown was made just for US and before the bigs news about sales... my prediction changed to 600-700k for US but not in time to change the 10 week countdown... before I expected 700k for WW... it did 1m... I was wrong in my first prediction and right after I made the second one.

And the supply to reach 1 million was always about US... I said it will need 5 weeks to reach 1 million in US due supply issues.

The 10 Week Countdown thread is not about US only, you've been here for 6 years, you know what that thread is about, don't lie to me.

You even included the jump the PS4 would make in its third week due to the European launch and argued with people in the thread over how low you prediction was for a simultaneous US and EU launch, so don't tell me you were talking about the US only.

So yeah I am talking about the 350k worldwide prediction, cause that's the one I saw, if you've changed your predictions you could send me link of that.

I expect MS shipping ~600k for the 13 countries... ~400k only for US.

I don't know how you guys make predictions... but I will explain how I make them.

  • I analise the data in internet and talk with some guys... so I post the 1st prediction
  • I get more data and others info... so I change my prediction
  • I get even more data and others infor... so I change again
  • That's happen until the software/hardware launch

For predictions threads I matain the prediction I did until the deadline of the thread... so I was way wrong two weeks ago... but my after that my prediction changed... so you can look the date for all these posts.

The last one is the valid for the launch.

That's a wrong way to make prediction? I don't know but you change it every day with new info/details.
