If i'm correct in my prediction and Xbox one sold around 600k 1st week in USA, everybody here has to admit that a 40% advantage of PS4 there is a HUGE win for Sony.... and if i'm wrong and Xbox One sold around 700-800k in USA 1st week (an amazing number of course), then, to sell only 300-200k in Australia, Austria, Brazil, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand, Spain and the UK is really really low and a disappointment.

my friend works at best buy and he said they got alot more xbox ones than ps4's and they are all sold out till next year.

No I think that is perfectly possible in certain stores/areas. I think on the whole you will find more stores that have PS4 pre-orders than XboxOne, *but* there will always be some stores that have more Xbox or the same. This is why I can believe the 1 to 1.5/2 sales figures people have been suggesting.

no. xbox had much less availble in US. unless your suggesting some stores had more X1s and some stores had none.

I am suggesting that it is totally possible that some stores had more stock come in than PS4... yes or that some stores had more orders for XboxOne than PS4... considering the size of the USA (and the same for UK) either is a perfectly reasonable conclusion. I mean some stores according to annecdotal evidence is talking about less than 15 boxes in some cases... so yes its totally possible when you have crap numbers like that, that in certain circumstances one console to get more units than the other.

Though as i said, I am expecting on the whole that the PS4 is selling better than XBO by a couple hundred thousand units... it would have been much more had more stock been around, and I expect the gap to grow as more stock becomes available.

I tried to tell you were talking complete rubbish and not to makes a fool of yourself. You said they didnt have the stock and even if they did the demand was not there and it wouldnt sell. You were wrong. 

Its always better to get your facts right before posting stuff like this or you end up looking pretty stupid.

An no it doesnt matter they launched in a number of countires. It actually makes the sales more impressive. Sony just **** themselves becuase the ps3 sold so badly in the states so sent all their launch stock over there. Where as MS had the confidence to launch in a number of territories and knowing they would still sell out similar numbers. Which they have. All this with a console costing significantly more. As with the 360 they will also have higher software attach rates and Live subscription levels vs psn. So all in a very good week for Xbox I would say.
