Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Killer Instinct is back baby.

Its really good to see Microsoft put their franchises to good use. People have wanted Killer Instinct for ages. And the reviews are rolling in.

Its fantastic to see that all the reviewers so far have either A) said the game plays flawlessly or B) is a very good fighter.

The low scores traditionally to do with content here. If you cant wait get it now. Or wait for MArch when loads more content is added to the game. Story mode, Bigger roster etc. Alot of Reviewers say they will re review the game next year.

I expect the new reviews to take the title over 90 metacritic. When is the last time you have seen a game score in the 70's metacritic with 6 characters

and only 1 mode of play?

Its being held up due to an amzing gameplay experience.

Thankyou Microsoft for bringing Killer Instinct back properly. Thankyou for an amazing fighting game.

Me? I cant wait for more content so Im juming in 22/11/2013.

CCCCCCCCCCombo Breaker.

"A year from now, Killer Instinct could be one of the best fighting games ever made. In its current state, it feels like the inherently replayable foundation for something bigger. The general lack of content is made up for by the mind-blowing fun factor, where pick-up-and-play controls meet meticulously crafted game mechanics. And despite the sensation that I've seen everything there is to see, I suspect I'll still be playing KI for months. Because sometimes, an awesome piece of a finished product is all you need to enjoy yourself."

Only if they're negative.

I'm not good at fighters, but I'm going to give this a go! Wish I pre-ordered :(

'I' Dont. But lots of people do. The fact that Killer Instincts gameplay is getting praised SO SO Highly is brilliant. The more people buy this game over the next year, the more franchises Microsoft will return to.

Double Helix are proving themselves as a great developer. Well Done Guys. Well Done.

And that is the best way to use review-scores.

Don't let them ruin your fun! Let positive reviews show you games you did not have on your radar before!

That is the one and only way.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

now bring back Perfect Dark!

Hmm, that's a pretty good idea.

That is a completely horrible way of using review scores.

Games are generally a quite expensive form of entertainment (Killer Instinct being "free", is an exception and in its case I'd just strongly suggest anyone having the chance to try it), so just looking for someone that liked the game is the worst thing you can do when you're on the fence about buying it, the right way of doing it is looking at both sides of the medal, actually reading the reviews and then deciding if you want to pay 60 dollars for it or if it just might not be the game for you.

No need to try and look in KI case. Everyone loves the gameplay.

The only question is whether to wait till January to play one of the best fighters in years. When it gets re reviewed with full content. 74 now, with full content 90 should be easy. The gameplay is near perfection. AS is the visuals.
