Gonna be tough. Last year Vita had bigger profile games (CoD, the white model bundle with AC).

This year it has Tearaway and... maybe Final Fantasy X? Not sure if it's coming this year at all.

PS4 won't help much. In fact, it might even cannibalize Vita sales because people will spend money on PS4 and not have leftover for Vita. Maybe in the long term PS4 owners get Vitas, but not now. Most people using PS4+Vita are the ones who already owned a Vita before.

Let's hope Vita TV can boost it in Japan enough for a YoY increase. Things not looking good at all in the west.

Europe its doing pretty good, especially if its doing 35k right before the holidays, the vita in japan has GE2+Vita TV to boost sales. Only US seems to be lacking in sales, and with ps4+X1+2ds launch this year, vita only has Tearaway (which only so far Europe is getting the bundle for it to my knowledge)

I don't know if I can trust numbers for Europe. They are almost too good to be true.

i hear that alot lately, the pass two weeks it jumped up out of nowhere right? Bundles are the only thing i could think of?

Maybe it's because of the price cut and vgchartz undertracked vita .

PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

Weren't European Vita sales quite underestimated until the recent adjustments? Maybe there wasn't much of a jump and it's just that the numbers are more accurate now.

that makes sense, we get vita numbers from japan and US numbers from NPD (been overtracking sometimes but only by 5k-15k per month). the adjustments make sense for Europe numbers since they added i think 90k total which adds up to about 10k undertrack per week.

Europe has an ok price cut effect but wat happened to the US? I got numbers posted here but how behind is US YoY in the US?

psvita already have ps+ so people don't need a ps4 to get free games on Vita, people just don't see psvita library  attractive that's why vita is not sold well, why people would spent 170 dollars on a console with games that are not interrested on it.

You still don't understand what I'm saying and it's really very simple. Right now only people interested in PS+ get it - I believe these are mainly people who already own Vitam, cause they are the most interested in gaming and Sony consoles in particular. PS4 makes PS+ pretty much mandatory, so millions of new people will get it and they will now be tempted to get a Vita. Starting now a huge number of new users will get PS+ and we will get remote play, which works much better than anyone expected. A lot of value. A maybe people will finally realize, that Vita library is actually awesome and that there are tons of great games. For me (a person that picked DS over PSP) 3DS is nowhere near Vita in terms of games available, let alone in the "bang for your buck" category.

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

People look if vita had big ip if they had not they will not buy psvita even if ps4 with ps+ will make them having a lot of free games.

PSVita problem if the lack of original bigip that's it is not ps4 and ps+ what will change vita situation that's what i think.
