Agreed but Wii U software can have great legs but that ain't goint to stop any of the software from selling poorly. There are 4 wii games ahead of the best selling Wii U game this week I believe.

time my friend, time........ PS3 shot up in less then 3 years after release.

Games on WiiU will shoot up wen WiiU shoots up (wen ever that is)

Games like NSMBU/Nintendo Land arent even at half of wt it will sell lifetime.

Ex: NSMB (DS) sold i think 8mil Within First year and wasnt even close to half of its lifetime, not to mention Mario Kart Wii or even this generations 3ds games such as SM3DL+MK7!

BTW crazy thing is NSMB on DS is still $30 o.O

I get wat others are saying, COD is most likely going to be down even wen you add the ps4/X1 games together!

here take a look FW sales of COD BLOP2

PS3=4,653,266 X360=5,929,540 http://www.vgchartz.com/weekly/41231/Global/

This First Week sales are  PS3=1,090,567  X360= 1,794,867

Over 10.5mil vs 2.8mil for last gen, there is no way PS4+X1 will be close to half of that FW when added to ps3+x360 FW sales

I'd expect PS3 sales in the US to be pretty low leading up Black Friday. People holding off till that great deal with the 250Gb /w TLoU and Batman AO.

We've had problems with broken street dates before.  Off the top of my head, LittleBigPlanet PS Vita had it done in the USA and the sales were messed up with that for a while (still are, I think).

But that isn't the issue here.  The games official release date for PS4 was the same week as the PS360U versions in the UK.  And it charted at #6 in the individual formats chart:

But it isn't tracked at all here.  Pretty bad, really.  There's no reason to make mistakes when we're given the chart on a silver platter and we just have to interpret numbers in.

You're comparing WW to US.  Though I agree with the overall point.

Hmm, that is odd, I just assumed that the official release date for PS4 games was the same as the console and any sold before would be breaking street date. If true we'll just have to hope somebody realizes and does something about it :(

That's why Nintendo should be making games for Sony consoles. Nintendo SW on Sony HW would be a renaissance of gaming.



Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!
