Because 8 is not weak?

I think because he is saying that an 8 is in no way "weak" it is a great score for a game....so in essence it is rather mind boggling for the reviewer to say a weak "8" like it is a bad score or something.

A "weak 8" means "on the low end of the 8/10 games", not that 8/10 itself is low.

I think that was the point of his post in. Because an 8 is a good score why would the reviewer call it weak lol

The way the review system (s) was butchered in the 7th gen, this kind of silliness is to be expected, unfortunately. 7 is the new 5 and 9's and 10's are easy to come by today.

A weak 8 doesn't mean that an 8 is weak but that the game just barely earned that 8.
