Same for me. I only had 4 Vita games in the beginning of 2013, now it's 12 with a few digital games. I hope 2014packs more heat for the Vita. The only other games I want for it now are Borderlands 2, Rayman Legends, Tearaway, and maybe Ys.

is that Little big planet in the middle? what did you think of it if it is and what do you think of it compared to the ps3 version of the game? I'm like 3 creators into it now  and I'm just wishing that it was more a port of the ps3 game and less trying to shove the touchscreen in your face ever 5 mins.

Also you say borderlands 2? is that coming to the Vita for sure? that is one Genre completely missed on the 3DS there isn't a single FPS on it, which is a shame if you've played Metroid: Hunters, CoD mobilized or the 007 games on the DS also, would think the 3DS would easily be able a nice fps game with its extra power... Jez thinking back to playing CoD online on the normal DS that worked really nicely and was pretty cool netcode for the DS.

I personally feel it's the best one, because the controls feel more precise and I feel the touch stuff works, but they do push you into a lot of them. And yes, 3DS could use more in the shooter genre and vita is getting borderlands 2 in 2014. Let's hope it's not gimped...

@bold Is there any at all? Thanks for the link to the borderlands story will check that out later on.

And yeah the vita big planet is cool just... I dunno I feel it just suffers a small bit of the original DS's in your face about having a touchscreen which.... for someone who had a DS back in 2005 or so is a fairly tired feeling right now.

Well there are a few. But I don't think there is much or any in the FPS department. Kid Icarus Uprising is a rail shooter, but I doubt that's what you're looking for. Resident Evil Revelations is a TPS as well. There's this preview that was released a few days ago called Ironfall, I've been told it resembles Gears of War (never played it), but Gears is a Third person shooter. I really don't think there is anything for FPS on 3DS :(

Here's a preview for Ironfall, I think it will be digital only.It looks very impressive for a 3DS game.

I finished Walkin dead completely back on the pc when it was new tho, so I seen that pretty cheap but passed up on it cos I couldnt' see me playing it again just fingerprinting the shit outta the screen for hours. That Jak and Dexter game? is that a HD collection of old games or is it an actual new Jak game for the vita? I've not seen it in the game stores here where I live.

It's the hd collection and it's awful, borderline unplayable. Wanted to go through all 3 games but I can't force myself to go back to the precursor legacy. There are no framedrops that bother me because the game runs at a constant ~15 fps. Some of the minigames are nearly unbeatable with this kind of framerate, the catching fish minigame had me almost throw my vita out of the window, it's simply not doable with stick controls and only barely with touch screen input. I am sorry for anyone who spent money on this turd of a collection, I got it free through PS+. I thought it was only the PS3 version but one day I simply could download the vita version of the collection.

The Vita version really is a bag of shit. The patch improved it, but not by much.

There was a glitch on PSN that gave me each individual game in the collection on PS3 for free. Not PS+ free, forever free.

you really think they wouldn't get a small team together for a platform where they've shifted 3m units over 4 games before? I would guess the lenght of time and resources which goes into a single 3rd party thrown together port of a game like this wouldn't take the same lenght of time of 1/4 of a map from the next gen systems. I would say their loss.... but like it's such a shame the 3ds doesn't have a shooter on it.... would think the fact that there is such an opening in the market would make it even more appealing to be the first?

It wouldn't be a port though... it would have to be a title developed from the ground up for 3DS.  Seeing how Vita couldn't run a fully fledged CoD (if rumours are anything to go by); then 3DS would have no chance.

That means new engine and dev team working for at least longer than 4 months (if Declassified is anything to go by) making this new game.  More resources than just porting something across, I would imagine.

Also, look at the global sales breakdown for each of those DS Call of Duty titles you listed.  Every single one of them had stronger second-year sales than first-year sales.  That means that they were all being sold at discounted prices; so although the physical numbers were impressive, I'd imagine the publisher wouldn't be getting as much back compared to if they'd been all first year sales.

Also, there's a massive decline between titles that was still trending downwards.  Perhaps they thought that decline was going to continue and it was better to quit while there was a good opportunity (i.e. new console).

Everything that Kresnik said plus Activision never abandoned mobile platforms for Call of Duty, they have just changed them. The resources that have gone towards the DS games, and CoD Roads to Victory on the PSP (although this was most probably moneyhatted like Declassified) are now geared toward iOS and Android versions, there are like 4 CoD games there. And probably make Activision more profit so they ditched dedicated handhelds unless payed by Sony or Nintendo to do a game, like Declassified which I'm pretty sure was exactly the case.

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!

Here's my 3DS collection:

Not pictured is Resident Evil: Revelations, arguably the best game on the system. I'm still missing some must-have games like Pokemon X/Y, Luigi's Mansion, Animal Crossing, Etrian Odyssey IV, etc.

Now, my Vita collection:

Right now it's only Assassin's Creed and PSABR, both of which came with the bundle. I've done a poor job building up a serious collection. I've been mostly relying on rentals through PS+. Games on my wish list include Killzone, Tearaway, and LittleBigPlanet, Resistance, and Soul Sacrifice.

Edit: just bought Guacamelee. This one's for you, Kresnik :)

wait... that bundle? means you got the beautiful piano white vita? that looked so tempting when I seen it, it just manages to look beautifully white without passing into the tertitory of looking like an Apple product :D

Soul Calibur broken destiny? that the psp game without any real story/arcade mode? remember raging when I bought that.

Also LBP vita is a lovely game if you liked the 2 on the ps3 you'll prolly love it as well.

Oh, it's a beautiful machine :) Plus it came with Assassin's Creed, Playstation All-Stars, and three months of PS+. It was my first experience with PS+. Since then I've resubscribed for a full year, although I use it mostly on PS3.

Even though my collection of physical games is small, as you can tell from the photos, the rentals and discounts on PS+ have kept me satisfied. Moreover, Vita really saved me when I was working overseas without any of my consoles.

The lack of Persona 4 Golden in some people's collections is quite alarming.

I have plenty for the V, and I keep adding every month.

Playstation = The Beast from the East

Sony + Nintendo = WIN! PS3 + PSV + PS4 + Wii U + 3DS

I can only speak for myself, but it's not on my radar because I already have Persona 4 for PS2. I have such a huge backlog of games that it's hard to find time for an enhanced port, even if it's much improved.

My current collection is small and I have it.

Speaking of PS Vita games to get, I am curious as to whether or not The Walking Dead is a good game to get.

I'm planning on eventually getting Uncharted, Killzone, and UMvC3.

Is there anyone who has both 3ds/psvita who has more games for the vita than the 3ds btw? got pics? wanna see more ideas for stuff to pick up. Loving that OLED goodness.

I've 3ds from day 1 and like 6 games total (Ndogs, StarFox 64, nSMB 2, SM3D, nSMB from DS and FinalFantasy V from DS)

because of my long time PS+ subscription I had more games for PSV then 3DS. So recently I've bought PSV.
