His unboxing video got taken down from Youtube so I doubt its a viral marketing campaign by MS.  Anway it looks like he makes his living by talking about sports not your ideal canditate to star in any viral add campaign. 

why not? hes active on twitter and youtube, and they are after the more casual gamer, the ones who are big into sports. every hockey game i see countless xb1 ads. by sending it to him they know its going to go up and get attention, they take down the video to give the very doubt you just gave but it would have already grabbed enough attention. People will be talking about a couple consoles getting out early. how is it the patch goes up today and hes able to play?

how is it that the ebay dealer gets it this morning, and posts that its able to play games, without ever having plugged it in to find out if the patch was up.

there is nothing wrong with viral marketing, its just alot of fun to point out when you see it.

I got to say he has lots of bunny rabbits on his home twitter screen.  I'll take that as a good sign of his outstanding moral character.

If one of these systems gets a red ring of death or something like it before launch, then you will see a real mass cancelation. I hope they are confident that their product won't fail.

Well, you can never know what he will tweet up next. How objective he will be and all that. Given the tension that lingers all over internet these days, any news could be misineterpreted, spinned or used to start another fan rage, all resulting to possible damage to the console's image and affect sales.

That is scary if so. I don't see it being a reasonable reason for the ban to be a gamer tag ban. he should still be able to use his account on his 360. but if they banned his profile for this, it's a bit over the top.
