I still don't see the big deal, the problem has always been paying to play online for me, the digital DRM is literally like wtf who care if you want Holywood film budget games?

Except it wasn't.
You got to play the full game for as long as you wanted.
I can't recall if it was Penello who refuted the suggestion that it was time-limited, or someone else, but it was refuted.
Well actually they did; then they cancelled the post-E3 interviews.

And this is exactly why everyone should fully expect them to try to bring it back in one form or another, sooner or later. I think it was pretty obvious from the beginning that they didn't bury the idea, they just delayed it.
Maybe they should have had a conversation with each other first! Still he is right, like it or not the future is digital.

Yeah, sure
MS prohibited selling and lending used games, wanted a cut from every single purchase, forced their 24h check on you....
...to let you share a single game with 10 people over the Internet....hahaha ....yeah
He's right and I've been saying this for months. I'll explain more when I get home.

This guy is startinh to become my least favorite. Their chance was during the orthy incident, the reveal, e3 and numerous other times. So fuck this twat
Can't have a rational conversation with an irrational company who tells you to buy a 360 if your internet sucks.

Indeed. Perhaps they're considering it again...
