"emphasis on quality over quantity"
that doesnt make sense because GT6 has 200 quality cars, but its also just ported over the others for quantity too.
forza could have just added the extra ones in even if they dont look as good.
most people that play with wheels (like how its supposed to be) dont even use the exterior views, so as long as the handling is good and you can tell what car it is, its worth putting in rather than leaving it out

It is more like 400+ Premium cars in GT6.

yeah, i meant to compare it with forza's 200, I was sure GT had many more (even though atleast 50 look more like doubles)

Ha.. i won my bet, but i wasnt around to gloat because im on a better forum!  See ya guys on Viz

Day one DLC for one car?

Because MS pushed them to make a content rich game for launch, which for most devs isn't feasible. Can't believe they're launching without the Nurb..

Almost all of the launch games for these platforms suffer in some form of trying to meet a deadline. Forza 5 is no different. With that said, 200 cars is about 150 more cars than I would even drive.

I wonder if it will continue its streak of 90+ metascores. I don't see how it possibly can. With a new generation, new game and half the content it wouldn't make sense to not see a big drop in scoring.

More than 50% less cars and 50% less tracks is terrible if you ask me.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

For a short while now, I've had this theory that Sony will be the only remaining console brand by 2016. And the more bad news I hear about Xbox One's hardware and software, the more I'm convinced that my theory is correct.

Thought this game was going to be a stand out exclusive for the X1 it may well be but with less content and no weather or night racing it appears to be lacking. I know it is a launch game but it should be delivering more not less as a next gen game. DLC incoming.

At least we can take something good from this news...

"Several of our tracks were just plain wrong"

I agree...  Nurburgring for example is a bad joke in Forza 4... so they know the tracks are wrong so fix them in the future.

PS. Killer Instinct will have only Arena Mode at launch... Arcade and Story Mode only after season 1.

PS2. GAFs rumors in July are right again... Forza 5 has less than half of the content than Forza 4... a stepback to the franchise.

Rather at the end of season 1 or after the season 1 characters (in other words no additional fees). Sorry if you ment it like that.

OP: From the looks of it quality truly is better than Forza 5's predecessors but this setback is somewhat upsetting. On the other hand  I didn't know how many cars and tracks Forza 4 had and I doubt I tried them all out.
