Well GT7 is the only no-brainer thus far, but here's a more important question:

Going into the 8-bit era, did we expect Super Mario Bros to sell 10m+ units?

Going into the 16-bit era, did we expect Street Fighter II to sell 10m+ units?

Going into the 32-bit era, did we expect Gran Turismo and Final Fantasy 7 (for all intents and purposes, it might as well have done, it was literally a whisker off) to sell 10m+ units?

Going into last gen, did we expect Grand Theft Auto III - SA to sell 10m+ units?

Going into the current gen, did we expect Call of Duty 4 onwards to sell 10m+ units?

So with this, I conclude:
