Very nice, this would have been day 1 if not for the required PS+ online for me :-/ Will eventually get it for SP for sure a few years down the road though.

While it is somewhat entertaining to read misterxmedia's blog (and the various sockpuppets that write there under different names), that blog should really only be used in psychology classes to discuss the subject of "Delusion and what it can do to you".
One thing that stands out is how the PS4 mainboard looks compared to the XBox One mainboard. The XBox board is a complete and utter mess in comparison. Tons of small components (RCL) cluttered all over the entire board, while the PS4 mainboard is basically clean. I'd wager Sony's solution is $5-$10 cheaper to manufacture. That may sound small but if you want to sell 100mio consoles....

I'm seriously impressed by that design. It's small and sleek but still powerful and it has everything inside the box unlike certain other consoles. I would have prefered a 120mm fan because of the lower noise, but we'll see just how loud that little 85mm fan will get.
