Forums - Microsoft - Ryse Son Of Rome. Best graphics of all next gen titles from a technical standpoint says IGN.

i remember IGN also said crysis 2 on consoles was the best looking console game when it came out.

Which in your opinion is better Crysis 2 (or 3) or Halo 4?

I tried the Crysis 2 beta mulitplayer (oh, wait, that was 3?), but I didn't know how to play so it was: look, look, step, dead.  Respawn, step, step, step, dead. Respawn, step, look, run, look, dead.

So I didn't really get to see much.  Didn't get a chance to play the campagne.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

well... it looks like real life and cgi and at times like the top looking current gen game all at once...

so it's a coaster in that video, but it looks great.....

Updated the thread title so it more accurately reflects what he said.

OT: Whilst the game certainly looks good I don't see how it can be so much better looking than any of the other titles.

Personally I think you'd have to be kind of crazy to say either this or Killzone Shadowfall (which I believe is the best looking PS4 launch title) are way better than the other or even a decent amount better than the other.

I agree it looks good from a technical standpoint, but something just feels off. I can't put my finger on it, it comes off as bland to me.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

can they not just issue a patch to patch it Upto a higher res? the game on disc can be 720p but the shortfall can be downloaded!

...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

Very good looking game, a cinematic experience, lots of violence, set in a popular era, mindless gameplay; this game will be a hit with the ''mature'' gaming crowd and be right at home on a Microsoft console.

this is a game for visual lovers that's all...

While Killzone obviously looks more impressive, Ryse does look damn good. What I don't get is why they didn't show off this kind of gameplay in the first place. It's almost like Crytek doubted themselves or something.

If the game looks and plays like this throughout it all, should turn out to be an awesome game.

Wut?

He said he likes new Kinect Features, the PS4 not going to get as much support for it's camera because it is not included, and likes the haptic triggers of the X1 controler. How in the world is this any dig on another console?

He didn't say anything negative about the DS4 or touch pad.  Just saying things he likes - I'm not following you.

You should really follow the rest of this topic. He's been pretty critical throughout and ignores anything that is worthy from the competition. In fact, look at the other replies in here, my sentiments are well understood (and agreed upon) by many.

What he also had nothing to do with anything I posted prior, but if you had been paying attention, you'd know that.

To be fair he is getting slammed pretty hard from all sides.  Not just the 'competition.'

Just hate seeing things sucked into an 'us' vs 'them.'  You've been a good a voice of reason lately; hate see you taking a foreign made console discussion personally.

He's happy about soming.  Nice to see people happy about things.

Ahh yes, the brilliant technical mind of some random IGN guy. Clearly his opinion is infallible!

You never cease to amaze, Selnor.
