is it impossible for Wii to do it? Only US can carry it now! Lifetime sales o.Ó

Seems impossible but the holidays are good for the little guy. I dont expect Wii Mini To help as much but you never know!

Thoughts?

102.49M is the last official shipped number directly from Sony for the PS1.

100.30M is the last official shipped number directly from Nintendo for the Wii.

   2.19M difference between the two.

 

Here is VGChart numbers which are overtracked for ps1!

    Wii ⇒ 100.32mil lifetime

   Difference= 3.93mil

   Wii has sold 1.44mil untis in 2013, holidays are coming up but only US getting shippments!

Impossible, you can find a Wii with online connectivity and in some cases with gamecube support for less than $99.

Don't know.. i think the wii-u will make it hard.. (price and it plays wii games)

Remember when ps3 came.. no body want it. and ps2 sold more long time.. that's not the case with wii-u.. but mayby if they open some new market.. And they could do..Nintendo would love to beat ps1..

Are you sure impossible? I sold 1.44mil this year and will probably get another million by holiday

It's 2.2m shipped away. Wii isn't shipping more than 1m this holiday Q, it did 2.2m last holiday and it'll be down YOY massively, like it has been all year. After that it'll sell so low Nintendo will discontinu in 2014.

It most definitely will not do it this year.
