Good post. I doubt MS sold 600,000 Xbox360s in 2 weeks.
I feel like ive said this 100 times on this forum but Shipped and Sold are two different things. Im sure someone has explained this already so i wont go into detail but you need to change the title to Shipped
This is thr question I have asked continuosly since I joined VGC since it never added up that PS3 would have sold so much above 360. We cannot concluse which system is in the lead so the best thing to agree upon is that this generation ended up with a winner in Wii and a tied second in PS360.
Personally I think the misunderstanding stems from winter of 2012 when a report came out claiming PS3 had outshipped 360.
Call Of Duty and Battlefield will sell a lot of Xbox 360's this holiday. Xbox 360 really is the most popular console. 
Wrong wrong wrong! The PS3 is outselling the 360 by miles! The fact is, the ps3 released a year after the 360 so as it stands the ps3 has sold around 80 million ish while 360 when it had the same retail shelf life was at around 70million ish
So the PS3 is doing ALOT better sales wise, when basing it fairly on how long they've been in retail for sale.

Really makes one wonder why the hell we have been using VGC numbers and arguing back and forth for all these months.

This is 100% assumptions though. PS3 shipments could be 80.4m. They could also be 80.01m. It's impossible to know. All we know for sure is that 360 shipments are >80m as of 17th October and PS3 shipments are >80m as of 2nd November. That's it, the rest is just pure guesswork.
