Didn't Iwata say they started working on the Wii U tablet idea before the ipad craz begun in a Iwata Ask?

Didn't they release a handheld with a touch-screen years before that?

I think I'll take Iwata's words over your usual nonsensical views when it comes to anything Nintendo.

Posting commercials on youtube so their fans that already are aware of the games won't help them. They actually need to put the ads on the TV too, odd as it may be.

We began talking about having another screen being a good idea around 2008. We thought thoroughly about our other options, but in the end, this was the idea which was the most logical for us. No kidding.

 

I haven't seen a Nintendo commercial on TV since 2009. That's Norway though. But as far as I know Nintendo still is lousy at putting out these commercials. Sending the commercial once on TV makes it an TV commercial. Doesn't make it successful though.
