COD Ghosts doesn't look like its gonna do too bad after all. Maybe 1.6 million FW on 360 and 800k on PS3. Its funny this series was once was deemed bigger than GTA...but the king remains the king.

Well, CoD also does big, BIG sales yearly. GTA comes wout once every four to five years. You can't build the same hype in one year then you can in five. As for going doing good again, I never had any doubt, because this is Call of Duty, after all.

Agreed this is Call of Duty but the advatage of releasing games in series like COD, AC yearly is that you establish a bigger franchise. It becomes the "thing to buy" every year that time of year. And as for "building the same hype in one year then you can in five"is completley true but new installments every year only add hype whereas new games every five years...the series usually becomes forgoten.

I'm surprised to see that PS4 version of CoD might actually sell better than XBone version in the US. Same story with BF4.

i dont really think so with COD you gotta think that the xbox one version will have a extra week on this chart.

That's true. Even still, the gap will still be very small, so WW the PS4 version is almost guarenteed to sell better.

23/40 games are for next-gen home consoles. After current-gen CoD, the next 12 games are next-gen.

Contrary to what many people seemed to think, I think the transition is going to be quick and next-gen consoles are going to be successful.

yay A Link Between Worlds and Super Mario 3D World are there.

Sony taking America back.

I wonder how much Lightning Returns will sell, the pre-orders are kind of decent.

Totally agree. And this is actually what worries me the most about the Wii U. I mean Super Mario 3D World is its biggest and most expected title this year, and it barely has 50K pre-orders with just 3 weeks to launch; while there are a couple of next-gen titles that don't even have a launch date determined and have already a lot more pre-orders than that. I think Nintendo needs to take drastic measures.
