I think Microsoft needs to call up Activision and thank them for CoD. The military shooter community is keeping them in the fight, to be perfectly honest.

Totally agree. And this is actually what worries me the most about the Wii U. I mean Super Mario 3D World is its biggest and most expected title this year, and it barely has 50K pre-orders with just 3 weeks to launch; while there are a couple of next-gen titles that don't even have a launch date determined and have already a lot more pre-orders than that. I think Nintendo needs to take drastic measures. |
No need to wrry on pre orders for Nintendo, Like how pokemon XY pre orders were less than these next gen pre orders it did tremendously well. Nintendo games dont get as many pre orders but they do have the best legs. LoZ wont have as many pre orders as all the titles you see here but It'll most likely outsell most of these lifetime. Thats nintendo's weird way lol.
SM3DW might actually sell very well this year, maybe between 1.5mil-2.5mil!

VGChartz goofed a bit. The PS4 version of CoD: Ghosts launches the same week as all the other platforms. Xbox One version is the only one delayed. Go look it up on the EB Games website. You can actually buy Ghosts for PS4 at the midnight launch. lol, not expecting too many preorders on PS4's version of CoD on its last week considering retailers are no longer taking preorders for a game that is already released.
GT6, Forza 5, Knack, and Ryse: Son of Rome looks like a failure from a sales point of view.

Besides GT6, I don't agree at all. Especially with Knack, look how Puppeteer did on PS3.
The last guardian will reach 55k by the end of 2014 i believe

CoD on Xbox One doing well despite the "resolution war". It still snatched 38,000 and maintained its lead despite the fact it's actually a week behind. 50k for PS4 in its second last week, wonder what the Xbox One version will hit?
| increase | total | |
| X360 | 246,970 | 1,203,251 |
| PS3 | 192,515 | 1,031,534 |
| 3DS | 16,290 | 74,058 |
| (Wii) | 0 | 0 |
| WiiU | 12,051 | 49,679 |
| PS4 | 164,377 | 1,916,768 |
| Xone | 128,729 | 1,325,514 |

I'm not. The PS4 has more pre-orders and better word of mouth. One gen doesn't determine the next. Everyone starts from scratch (as the PS2 to PS3 should have proven, more than anything). |
And yet people deny this.
Wow TOP 12 is going to be pure Next-gen games and 16 out of 20 will probably be Next-gen next week too.
I don't know about you guys but Next-gen is no DOA as many is predicting - 3.2m preorders on games for two consoles that aren't even out yet is pretty huge!
