Project CARS will be a major disapointment the game gets constantly delayed plus the studio hasn't made anything major before.  Also I'm sure it has a shoestring budget so you can't expect anything worthwile those only work for making great indie movies or a indie game but not a ambitious title like Project CARS.  Its also ironic that it is called Project CARS since it has a very limited roster of cars so it should really be called Project Not a Lot of CARS.  You may not like it but Forza will be the only major competion Gran Turismo will have others have tried and failed Sega with Sega GT, Sega GT 2002 and Sega GT Online and Konami with Enthusia Professional Racing and Project CARS will soon be added to that list.

My gaming life has pretty much turned into finding games to play in between Gran Turismo's. I'm so so so so so happy that they focused on the technical side of GT as a driving simulator rather than messing around with livery editors and such. The new wheels and the (fully fuctional) Aero kits should be plenty of visual customization.

So many cars I want to drive and so many things I want to do!

P.S. I really really hope that the GPS track maker comes to fruition the way it sounds in the description.

I wrote a program to remove the duplicates from the lists of cars from GT5 and GT6. I still got a lot of mismatches (around 200) that I had to go through manually (a lot of cars were slightly renamed, but we can easily assume it's the same car). As for the "Removed Cars (with similar alternative present)", I'm still almost sure that it was a naming issue and that it is safe to assume it's the same car, but I put them there anyway. Note: for those of you who are curious, I attached the mismatch file ("out.txt") so that you can judge by yourself if the cars are the same or not.

Again, some are difficult to confirm. About Standard/Premium Car, there won't be distinction between them, but Standard equivalent cars will have simplified cockpit views (and even if it's not mentioned, they may or may not have a rougher exterior look). At first look, all racing suits and helmets seem to be maintained. All paint categories where maintained but it's sill unsure if all those several thousands of paint chips will be there.
