And a fantastic research from Oyashiro-sama, from GTPlanet put together a fantastic thread about everything that is new in GT6 and everything that has been taken out or is missing
### Cars ### I wrote a program to remove the duplicates from the lists of cars from GT5 and GT6. I still got a lot of mismatches (around 200) that I had to go through manually (a lot of cars were slightly renamed, but we can easily assume it's the same car). As for the "Removed Cars (with similar alternative present)", I'm still almost sure that it was a naming issue and that it is safe to assume it's the same car, but I put them there anyway. Note: for those of you who are curious, I attached the mismatch file ("out.txt") so that you can judge by yourself if the cars are the same or not. - Removed Cars (no alternative present) Ferrari F10 '10 Ferrari F2007 '07 Citroën C4 WRC '08 Ford Focus RS WRC 07 '08 Subaru IMPREZA WRC 2008 '08 Suzuki SX4 WRC '08 Ginetta G4 '64 Jensen Interceptor MkIII '74 Nissan 350Z Gran Turismo 4 Limited Edition (Z33) '05 Nissan 370Z (Z34) (GT Academy Version) '08 ---------- Total: -10 - Removed Cars (with similar alternative present on GT6) Lotus Europa Special '71 -> Lotus Europa Special '72 Nissan SKYLINE 2000GT-B (S54A) '67 -> Nissan SKYLINE 2000GT-B (S54B) '67 Subaru IMPREZA Sedan WRX STI spec C Type RA RM '05 -> Subaru IMPREZA Sedan WRX STI Rally Car '05 --------- Total: -3 - Removed Cars (but same car with different livery/tunning exists) Toyota 2010 Joey Logano #20 Camry (Fantasy) Chevrolet Camaro SS Edge Special Gran Turismo Red Bull X2010 5G Ford GT (No Stripe) '05 Nissan 370Z Tuned Car (GT Academy Version) '08 Nissan GT-R Black edition (GT Academy Version) '12 Nissan GT-R Black edition Tuned Car (GT Academy Version) '12 Nissan GT-R SpecV (GT Academy Special) Nissan GT-R SpecV (GT Academy Version) '09 Nissan Leaf G (GT Academy Version) '11 Nissan SILVIA spec-R AERO (S15) (GT Academy Version) '02 Nissan SKYLINE GT-R V·spec II (R32) (GT Academy Version) '94 Nissan SKYLINE GT-R V·spec II Nür (R34) (GT Academy Version) '02 (All standard cars duplicates of premium cars) ---------- Total: -13 + Added Cars 2011 Monster Sport SX4 Pikes Peak Special '11 Abarth 1500 Biposto Bertone B.A.T 1 '52 Abarth 500 '09 Abarth Grande Punto '09 Alfa Romeo MiTo 1.4 T Sport '09 Alfa Romeo TZ3 Stradale '11 Alpine A110 1600S '72 Aston Martin One-77 '11 Audi Auto Union V16 Type C Streamline '37 Audi R18 TDI (Audi Sport Team Joest) '11 Audi R18 TDI Prototype '11 Audi R8 LMS - Team Oreca '10 Audi R8 LMS ultra (Audi Sport Team Phoenix) '12 Audi R8 LMS ultra '12 Audi Sport quattro S1 Pikes Peak '87 Audi Sport quattro S1 Rally Car '86 Autobacs Garaiya GT300 Base Model '08 BMW 507 '57 BMW E92 M3 (BMW Motorsport) '10 BMW M3 GT (BMW Motorsport) '11 BMW M3 GT2 Base Model '11 BMW Z4 GT3 '11 BMW Z8 '01 Bugatti Veyron 16.4 '13 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe '11 Chevrolet 2013 Dale Earnhardt Jr. #88 National Guard CHEVROLET SS '13 Chevrolet 2013 Jeff Gordon #24 Drive to End Hunger CHEVROLET SS '13 Chevrolet 2013 Jimmie Johnson #48 Lowe's CHEVROLET SS '13 Chevrolet 2013 Juan Montoya #42 Target CHEVROLET SS '13 Chevrolet 2013 Tony Stewart #14 Bass Pro Shops CHEVROLET SS '13 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray (C7) '14 Chevrolet Corvette StingRay Racer Concept '59 Chevrolet El Camino SS 396 '67 Chevrolet Nova SS '70 Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta passo corto CN.2521 '61 Ferrari 250 GTO CN.3729GT '62 ... About Standard/Premium Car, there won't be distinction between them, but Standard equivalent cars will have simplified cockpit views (and even if it's not mentioned, they may or may not have a rougher exterior look).
