Looks like slim picking outside of whats available on Nintendo Consoles

What do you mean?  The majority of the games in the OP are on the PS3.

All of them are re-releases. Toukiden's more of a hunting game, Drakenguard is a weird mix of Musou with RPG as well

Your list is also missing quite a few games. Alot of them.

SMT x FE, Devil Survivor Rerelease numba 2, localized rpg  1-2-3-4-5-6-7 for the 3DS along with the other games the WiiU wil have.

The ever elusive localized RPG 1-7. Must be added to OP.

I also hope you're being intentionally ironic...

I'm hoping the 3DS port of Dragon Quest 7 will get a NA release in 2014 since it looks a lot better then the PS1 version and I heart it plays a lot better also.

Really hope X makes a 2014 release in the west.

We're not even certain it'll make it in Japan for 2014.

I'm pretty sure it's been confirmed for 2014 in the past, and it's listed for 2014 WW on Nintendo's release list.

You say this as if Nintendo has a good track record for releasing things on time...

While they've gotten better since the launch of the Wii (Smash, Galaxy, and MKWii were all supposed to be launch window releases at one point), I still don't trust them. Especially since they're actually being slightly ambitious with the project.

Only X on that list really interests me as I don't see FFXV releasing in 2014. Unfortunately, I don't see anything else reigniting my interest in the genre.

After PS3, JRPGs on home consoles will be pretty much dead outside of Square Enix.

Pretty much agree with this statement which is a shame since it pretty much means there is a zero percent chance that Lost Odyssey will get a sequel.

X and SMT X FE for me aside from that maybe Bravely Default

bet with ash3336 he wins if Super Mario 3D World sells less than Mario Sunshine during the first three years, I win if 3D World outsells Sunshine's first 3 years. Loser get sig controlled for 3 months (punishment might change)

Do you doubt the WiiU? Do you believe that it won't match the GC?

Then come and accept this bet

Your list is still pretty anemic. Lots of JRPG's not on the list

A lot of them are on the 3DS.

We got quite a few RPG's this year. 4 more still on schedule for release this year(on the 3DS)
PS4 has two RPG's (strategy and something else) But that may end up late 2014 deal early 2015.
