Nintendo has been clearly juggling a lot of shit since 2009.

Honestly Im hoping that the changes Iwata's made to NOA will show some fucking results soon >_>

NoA is REALLY dragging them down over here.

Wii sports always felt like a Tech Demo imo. But people were hardcore with that game lol

as long as we can agree it was a tech demo. Which is why i cant hate it because it was a tech demo

Cant agree on the rest. EVERYONE is always juggling shit, since forever. What makes them more special than Sony or MS? Their motion devices are still being supported, hell their consoles are still being supported. Why couldnt that be the case for Ninty. I dont think NOA has anything to do with it as they have no real power or influence anyway, unless im wrong and they do.

Nobody thinks Nintendo is "more special" than Sony or M$. The only two major games released for the Move this year were Dust 514, and Bioshock. The last 1st party Move game released was the Wonderbook game, and that was just short of a year ago. The last major hardcore game released was Sorcery, in May 2012, and there haven't been any PS4 games announced. I wouldn't call that support. Microsfot supports Kinect, but for everything except games. There were only a few Kinect games released in 2013. All were third party. The Xbox One support is looking better though.

And NOA has no influence whatsoever, judging by the way they operate.

There are more games that support Move and more games that support Kinect than Wiimotionplus. Whether Sony stopped or not wasnt my point, both of those addons got more support in their lives despite coming out later and selling alot less. Those are the facts, which is why I think Ninty was the worst in this regard.

No game maker really made a good game for motion contoll it was like a add on.
its a fad sony and nintendo gave up on it and ms should also

VITA 32 GIG CARD.250 GIG SLIM & 160 GIG PHAT PS3

it got way too many chances..people realised it was a fad, not a real long term solution, quite frankly they don;t work as well as current control methods.......... How was it supposed to ever be taken serious when current controls work way better?

Devs had to give up on it because people realized it was nothing more then a gimmick and accessory.

No devs gave it up because they cant make money off it because of the fragmented consumer base

You guys are really gullible, its always about the money.

You can just talk to the Red Steel 2 guys

People from all sides should watch this. This goes a long way in explaining why Full Motion games were and continue to be niche, why Nintendo is going to be continue to be the only exception, gives an inkling into why games that weren't even Full Motion also failed (hint motion controls don't fit every genre), how that might change in the future (but apparently not with what SONY is doing right now), and a few other good bits about the industry as a whole.

Motion controls aren't _the_ future, they are part of the future.

A warrior keeps death on the mind from the moment of their first breath to the moment of their last.

Gimmick and fad are almost the same thing

Kinect 2.0 will dominate advancements in gaming . We have already seen that you can peak around corners, tell commands which know your voice.  Plus Kinect is still selling well.  Kinect 2.0 will add to that.  Kinect is about to out sell the original xbox. This shouldn't be ruled out.
