Well they didn't announce a new character, they just asked for suggestions.
They probably want some ideas for future updates, but for now it will just be the new Challenge Mode and the new weapon!

I don't understand whats taking them so long... Its not like Shovel Knight has a huge story that needs to be translated.

Not surprising imo. WiiU is selling to Nintendo's core audience who are still around from the good old days. Most children are yet to move on to new consoles, wonder if they will at all tbh. Tablet and mobile gaming is getting popular for young kids. In town and your kid is crying, hand him your phone to play angry birds. At home trying to watch some shit tv show but your kid wont leave you alone, hand him the phone to play candy crush. If it continues like this Sony and MS too will struggle to draw in these young kids as they grow older.

The new Mario Kart update really changed the VR system. I lost 20 points in one race yesterday which was unheard of before.
