What does EA have to do with Ubisoft? Almost every 3rd party publisher has abandoned WiiU. Ubisoft were one of the last ones actually so you can't really blame them.

EA were the first to jump ship. After everyone was jumping ship, the sales of the Wii U stopped because of the dry spell. Ubisoft saw this, and instead of ending the dry spell, they just extended it.

It was a snowball effect, sure, but it was not the publishers jumping ship that kept the snowball rolling. It was the low sales almost all of them were seeing.

And gee, I wonder if it was because they were porting year old games on established IPs that didn't have any previous Nintendo console experience?

Experience has to start somewhere. Do you think they should've spent large sums of money on new IP for a console whose predecessors have never managed to sell 3rd party games in a meaningful way? Do you think Nintendo had nothing to do with it? Look at Microsoft, they only entered the fight 2 generations ago but already have a vastly better relationship with 3rd parties than Nintendo ever had. It's time to accept that Nintendo is, at the very least, partly to blame for its own situation.

They can't blame nintendo for poor sales if the consumers would rather play Assassin's Creed on the console they've been playing it on. They can't blame nintendo when Mass Effect 3 doesn't sell well a year after it came out.

Woo, just realized Super Mario Kart is releasing tomorrow on NA Virtual Console! Been waiting for that game for months.

So, basically no Ubisoft support besides Just Dance?
I think bringing this AC game would be better than the Unity seeing as Rogue is old gen and people could buy it on Wii U and not have the inferior version.
To me, Rogue had a better chance of selling more on Wii U than a Unity port.

Yeah it's a strange choice, and a worrying trend also. Hopefully things will pick up soon, though!

To be honest, and no I am not always trying to pick on you or throw jabs at you despite whaT YOU THINK GONEYCCCC!

But I think you hardly buy any games that are third party on Wii U. So are you saying this is worrying for the Wii U, or that you are actually sad these games are not coming. As I think you would not buy them anyways.

I'd buy them if they were there. I got Residential Evil Revelations on Wii U. Got Sonic, Monster Hunter etc. As well. Thing is,  a lot of games like Gta, Dark Souls etc that I like skip the system, and others like Watch Dogs which I was planning on getting for the U release late. So I don't get them because they aren't there, and I ain't buying shovelware just because it's third party either.
