I'm talking about Paper Mario sticker star 2.

Nintendo said with the first 3D one, they wanted it to stand out from all the previous games, and really focus the team on a completely different gameplay mechanic instead. Which explains Sticker Star 1. I suspect the next paper Mario to be a mix of both, but more like thousand yeas door, except for the open world which will still be chopped up to different pieces like sticker star, for the on the go feasibility.
