What are our plans for E3-related threads?

For example, could I make a thread devoted to JUST 3DS news and announcements at E3, from Nintendo, 3rd parties, and indies?

Or are we trying to be more/less centralized than that?



My friend is a Vtuber, check him out.

I think MohammadBadir is handling that; news-related announcements. Having three threads (one for the conference, one for 3DS and one for Wii U) in addition to this is just a little too many :/

Makes sense. It's just that centralization seems to be an ongoing dilemna around here ocassionally (competing official threads, who holds tournaments, etc.) and I wanted to make sure everything was settled.

I reserve the right to make OMG threads after huge announcements though.

F-Zero for 3DS is NOT just wishful thinking!

Oh, no, no, no. Not at all!

It's just that, and this comes from what Nintendo themselves have said, they tend to pick good, new ideas and use it with their known IPs instead of using them for new games. And that's what I think could have happened here.

After all, since when has been the "new IP fromMiyamoto" in the cards? 3 years? He didn't need that much time for his latest one, Wii Music... (or maybe that's why it's taking him/Nintendo so long, not to make the same mistake twice )

I know this isn't the thread to do it or what you want, but I couldn't help it.

 

More questions:

-Nintendo will show new hardware... a WiiU redesign

-X will get an official name (other than X, ofc)

-An old IP will make a comeback in the form of a new game

-New colors for the 3DS

 

And that's it for now.


X will be named XenoSomething. (Xeno-*enter rest of name here*)

New color original 3Ds being one of the not yet release ones from E3 2K10.

No new hardware, except maybe a Wii U with more internal memory, but highly doubtful.

Metroid will maybe be the old IP with a new game for the 3DS or Wii U, but most likely 3DS because of older system obviously.
