There will not be a new console announced until 2016 E3, at the earliest. Mark that.

Unless it's this Quality of Life, not-really-a-video game thing that they say they're going to start up, or perhaps another model of 3DS? But there is no realistic way that Nintendo is going to do what so many clowns online think they should, and pull a Sega, abandoning their current console way too early, and rushing a new console out to market way too early.

Nintendo may well have fucked up and stumbled over themselves a bit with Wii U. But there is just no way in hell that they're stupid enough to NOT stick it out with Wii U, get those BIGGER games out that people really want, like MK, like SB, like Zelda, Animal Crossing, god forbid a home console Pokemon, etc., and get as much out of it as they can until at LEAST A couple of years from now.

What I COULD see happening is a new model of the Wii U. Similar to how both PS2, PS3 and Xbox 360 all had model upgrades during their life spans.

Redesign of the box, make the controller sleeker, better battery, more storage, turn on Blu Ray playback etc.

I don't think it's likely, and I also don't think we'll see a new console until 2016 (maybe 2015 for handheld)
