Meh, I don't really care for that design. Looks like it should have stopped at the end of the skirt, looks extremely awkward with that boulder thing on the bottom.

So Carbink got a new evolution in the same gen? Oh wait, it's a legendary...

A bit meh when it comes to the legendary department

well carbink is irrelevant now, but the other two have unique typing! also the fire/water gets a hydro pump/scald move! (110 power/95% accuracy)

This is effectively better than any legendary reveal

Just give that move some good distribution GF, don't make it exclusive to one poke alone.

pokemon Z will be nice with additional pokemon but thats never happened. But i do strongly believe we might get a couple more mega evolutions! (mybe 5-8 more)

They'll probably add the bulk of the extra mega evos on the inevitable Ruby and Saphire remakes. I'm heavily betting on Mega Kyogre/Goudron/Rayquaza.

Wii U News: February 11, 2014

  • VGChartz numbers started to come in about 23 hours ago. The last week of January, the Wii U sold about 48,000 units worldwide, up about 6,000 from last week. The system is doing pretty poorly in most of the world still, but actually isn't that bad in North America, where over 26,000 units were sold, more than the PS3. In the United States, where the console sold just under 24,000 this week, the best selling game was Super Mario 3D World, coming in at #17 with 14,709 sales. NSMBU and NSLU were at #21 and #22 respectively, with over 13,000 each, and Wii Fit U, Wind Waker HD, and Nintendo Land all also managed to chart. So far, it seems that Mario platformers are what's pushing Wii U sales, especially since over 40% of software sales for the Wii U came from the three Mario platformers for the system.
  • According to Media Create, the Wii U has outsold the 360's lifetime in Japan. Although not a huge milestone, doing so in slightly over a year is nothing for the Wii U to be ashamed of, especially if 2013 is a relatively slow year like many other platforms' earlier years.
  • An interview with a random Wii U developer. They also make retail products.
  • The Wii U is not making Ubisoft a lot of money. However, as of Q3, the original Wii made them more money than the Xbox One or PC markets.
  • Rayman Legends, possibly the best 3rd party game for the Wii U, is on sale! Get it for $34 on this website, or on the eShop for $40.
  • Some random dev bashes Nintendo haters. Usually such studios bash Nintendo, but these guys apparently are announcing a Wii U game Friday.
  • Lucario, use Double Team!

If people want in on the Pokemon tourney, do please let me know soon if you haven't already done so! Tomorrow I'm going to be putting up a table of who's in, so it'll be more difficult to enter if you haven't before then.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

I made an interesting Nintendo thread. It's about how popular their different series are in different regions. Also, it may explain 2014's core lineup.
