3DS News: January 26, 2014

• the big news of the day, and possibly the biggest 3DS-related news so far this year, is Capcom's announcement of Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. Known as 4G in Japan, it will be coming out this Autumn in that country. Why is my wording so peculiar? Because the game has also been confirmed for a Western release! MH4U is currently planned for an early 2015 release in the West. This will be the first entirely new Monster Hunter game in the West since we got Monster Hunter Tri for the Wii back in Summer 2010. Check out this thread for an ongoing discussion.
• You may have thought I was done talking about Monster Hunter, but I felt it deserved an extra bullet point. Confirmed aspects of MH4G/U include online play, the ability to import save files from the original Monster Hunter 4, and at least one new area, a desert. The first two features in particular will likely be the star of the show in Japan. Information is still scarce, but I'm sure we'll be learning more about this game all year.
• There's probably more 3DS news to report, but this Monster Hunter stuff is making it hard to find. Even with just that, this was a bigger Sunday than usual.

Awesome news about a western release for MH4U though! I really hope a Wii U version is confirmed soon.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is really cool! Specially if you have people to play with you! I already sank like 50 hours on the game, it's awesome!Mario and Luigi: Dream Team is good I guess, never played it but I did try the first GBA game. I think they are cool games but they don't feel like an RPG, it's more about the actions you do on battle that determine the outcome of the battles. I think there 's even one stat in the game that is a joke and serves no purpose! It was the "Moustache" stat.

The "stache" stat is basically the luck stat, it affects crits and stuff like that.

Oh you already played the gamen then! There is no reason to get it then as you said wait for MH4U. Capcom sure takes their time to localize the game...

It reminds me I never finished Dream Team. I got right near the end in the wood to the right of the map, but just never pushed through.
