Isn't the XL normally priced at $200? If so I'd say that's a steal right there even without the Zelda game.

Welcome! I would recommend picking them up for that cost, as you say you could sell one of tgem for roughly the same cost as both. So go for it!

Bravely Default eh? Now that is a quality game, I would most definitely recommend!

3DS News: January 8, 2013

  • The 3DS emulator for PC's is a thing, but I don't feel like linking to it.
  • IGN readers are hyped for Yoshi's New island, Super Smash Bros 4, and Professor Layton 6.
  • Chibi-Robo is out tomorrow!
  • Etrian Odyssey 4 is fun so far.

Feeling better! Now you can expect long sentences (especially with the stuff found today)

Wii U new of 08/01/2014: (the first 3 new are related)

  • Now the Big 3 are allowed to sell their consoles in China! (Ok, for this gen I expected the market to shrink but with this, the market might get to it's biggest. There are over 1 Billion people in china! If only 5% of its population get a console, that would be 50 million more gamers!) But Nintendo, Sony or M$ won't sell their consoles over there yet, because of this article... I don't have time to read it today!
  • Nintendo's stock rises to 15,850 yen per share!
  • And Nintendo is now bigger than Sony! (I don't know if it's really good to Nintendo [because Sony is an enourmos Corporation], or really bad for Sony [because Nintendo on works with gaming, a supposedly shrinking market])
  • DKCR exists thanks to Metroid Prime's tools/engine, and a 3D DK game is hinted!
  • Japanese charts: Nintendomination? Kind of... Software is with top 3 3DS games and the next three are Wii U games. 3DS with 188k is still the best selling hardware, then comes the Vita with 88k and third the Wii U with 60k.
  • SM3DW lack of online discussion!
  • Somehow, the Nintendomination youtube channel (no, not based on this site) has some footage of Bayonetta 2 in 60 FPS!
  • And a sad day for the Toki Tori fans and others came today, as Two Tribes closes...

Personally, I would buy a Wii U if they came out with a new F-Zero game. I would also like to see a HD remake of Super Mario 64, as well as a HD remake of Resident Evil 2 and Nemesis. They need to start adding classic Nintendo 64 and Gamecube games to the eshop and lower their egreciously expensive eshop prices for retro games. Furthermore, a price drop would help immensely. As the Wii U stands today, it is siill $100 more expensive than the Xbox 360 and $50 more than the PS3; which has a much bigger hardrive, plays DVDs and Blu Rays, and has thosuands of more games to choose from. The fact that 8 and 9 year old consoles are outselling the Wii U (which has only been out for a little over an year) should worry Nintendo tremendously. Nintendo fanboys touted marquee IPs as their fledgling console's saving grace, but to no avail. i mean, did Wind Waker HD, Pikmin 3, or even the critically acclaimed Super Mario 3D World really help boost Wii U sales significantly? If Mario can't save the Wii U then (almost) all hope is lost. As a Nintendo fanboy, I hope I'm wrong, but it looks like the Wii U will end up dead last just like the Gamecube-one of the greatest consoles of all time- did not so long ago.
