Yes, U don't need a TV, but some games play best with Duo screens like U wouldn't believe.

The only game I played that didn't have the option was ZombiU. That was just because you had to switch back and forth between the two screens for things like inventory, door locks, etc.

@MohammadBadir I sent a friend request. Tried to do it with my 3DS but it still wants a friend code. Guess they didn't fully get rid of those.

I did AeternoBlade and rather liked it, I will most likely purchase it when it becomes available next month.

3DS News: December 27, 2013

  • The eShop is down ago, for maitinence. I'm starting to get a bit annoyed that I can't take advantage of any of the eShop sales.
  • The Pokemon Bank is officially delayed in the West. Not a great note to end the year on.
  • On a completely unrelated note, Nintendo is looking to hire an IT Architect.
  • 151 Japanese game devs were asked what their top game of 2013 was. The results are interesting. The Last of Us was #1, and the first game on a Nintendo platform was Monster Hunter 4, down at #8. Pokemon X/Y got as many votes as Cookie Clicker, Zelda got just one vote, the same as Killer Instinct, and nobody voted for Super Mario 3D World. Weird.
